Our History

William "Pete" Peterson began selling young plants from his backyard greenhouse and found a love for taking care of customers.  What began in 1965 as Peterson Brothers Wholesale Nursery was built with hard work and South Texas sweat.   The next generation took over when Pete retired and his children, Rodney and Linda continued the tradition with long-time employee Paul Kosub.  Together they continued the tradition at the San Antonio facility providing local retail nurseries and landscapers with high quality plants at affordable prices.  In 2022 the trio decided it was time to pass the business along.  Two local businessmen, began working with Linda, Rodney and Paul on a plan to transition ownership and continue the legacy they had so diligently protected.  Building on their success, Peterson Nursery is ready for the next 50 years!
